Looking Up

This summer, I experimented with the idea of taking photographs of the underside of flowers, with the sun lighting them up. It turned out that it can make for some beautiful photographs. My favorites were of when I was able, with the right angle from the sun, to capture different shadows on the undersides of the petals of the flowers. It gave the flowers a more elegant and sophisticated look.

I have to say, my favorite photo in this batch is the orange flower with the shadows of the leaves on it.  I think the close up is slightly better than the one taken a little further away.  Which one is your favorite?

    1. Thank you! I love the white flower photo too. It seems as if it is glowing, doesn’t it? I haven’t been able to get a photo just like that in a while.
